tiny rays have arrived during a baby boom at Great Yarmouth’s Sealife Centre, Norfolk — at least six Thornbacked rays have hatched over the last three days alone. Though the fish appear to be smiling, what looks to be it’s eyes are in fact gills for breathing on it’s underside. The rays’ real eyes are on the front of it’s body.

Statue of Colin Firth emerging from the water as Mr. Darcy installed in London’s Hyde Park
It’s a 12-foot fibreglass recreation of the moment that made Firth a sex symbol, and you can swim right up to it! More here:

❝ Move forward
and repeat after me with your heart:

“I no longer need you to fuck me as hard as I hated myself.”

Make love to me
like you know I am better
than the worst thing I ever did.

When I can’t tell if something was a back-handed compliment

Imagine if writers spoke about other people’s professions the way other people speak about writing.

breakfast just got a lot easier

I stayed in bed for over an hour
looked at things on my phone
I felt slightly anxious about nothing particular
I walked downstairs and poured coffee into a jar
I asked a person on the internet if I should take drugs
I took drugs before the person had time to respond

I feel alienated by people who express concern about me without
defining their concern in terms of a specific solution or goal
I dont feel comforted by the idea of an afterlife
I dont want to continue experiencing things after I die
I want someone to pull my hair because I like the idea of someone
controlling my head without touching my head

what is the difference between being an independent person
and being a person who is accepting of loneliness
